Welcome to my photo blog.  My name is Jeff DaPuzzo, and I am a photographer.  For the past 6 years, I was an elementary school teacher in NYC, most recently teaching 3rd graders at the phenomenal Girls Prep Charter School on the lower east side.  And for the 17 years before that, I was in advertising and marketing at American Express. While I truly miss the joys of being with my beautiful angels in a classroom, I have decided to pursue my other great passion, photography, and take it beyond a lifelong hobby.

The purpose of this blog is to create a space for me to share my work with those who enjoy photography and for those who are developing or refining their craft.  I would love to hear stories, share ideas, and generally explore the world of photography with others.

I hope to inspire, and be inspired during this journey of discovery.  The lens can capture and tell so much about what is happening in the world, but it can also tell about what is happening inside the photographer.  And I think it is the feelings evoked that truly make the photo.  I will be sharing my view of the world with you and would love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.
